You’ll notice a substantial difference once the chlorine taste and odor of city water is removed or the smell and taste of plastic/ rubber from your icemaker.

Filtrete has been around for nearly 25 five years and has worked with the engineers at 3M to develop some of the worlds best filters and their advance water filtration system is nothing short of the best. The Filtrete Under Sink Advanced Water Filtration System is the most powerful of the inline filtration systems I’ve reviewed thus far. Not only is it great for filtering your refrigerators water supply and ice makers, it can also be used as a filter for a second faucet specifically for filtered water.
The Filtrete Advanced filtration system works hard to filter out sand, sediment, rust, chlorine taste and odor as well as parasitic cysts leaving your water healthy and clean. The Filtrete Advance filtration system also boasts an easy install and can be done in a mere 30 minuets even with no plumbing experience. No special tools or fittings are required and it comes with detailed instructions and all the fittings you will need. The filter replacement is even easier than the installation process by only requiring a twist of the old filter and then a twist on the new one! The Filtrete Advanced is on the higher end of cost out of the ones we’ve reviewed but not by much. I’d recommend the Filtrete Advanced Water Filtration System if you’re looking for a top quality product that will provide you with top quality results.

There you have it, the top inline water filters of 2015. These are all great products from great manufacturers, which is why only choosing one of these is hard. But, if I had to choose, it would be the Filtrete Under Sink Advanced Water Filtration System. It provides outstanding water filtration power, easy installation and even easier filter replacements. Although priced the highest, the cost is still low compared to other types of water filtration. All in all, the inline water filter is a very inexpensive solution if you are looking to greatly improve your waters drinkability.
